ED gets ‘black diary’ from Arpita’s house, names of many top TMC leaders may come out

ED (Enforcement Directorate) sources said that raids were conducted at the houses of Partha Chatterjee and Arpita Mukherjee between Friday and Saturday. Many important documents have been recovered from both of their houses. It also includes a black diary recovered from Arpita’s house.

ED officials have found a black diary from the house of Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of the then Education Minister Partha Chatterjee, arrested in West Bengal’s famous teacher appointment corruption case. It is believed that in this diary there is a secret of teacher scam.

Sources said that raids were conducted at the house of Partha Chatterjee and Arpita between Friday and Saturday. Many important documents have been recovered from both of their houses. It also includes a black diary recovered from Arpita’s house.

ED made big claim about black diary
It is being claimed that the diary contains the names of those who allegedly took money as bribe for the appointment of teachers. ED sources believe that the diary contains the names of several top Trinamool leaders, apart from Partha Chatterjee, who were allegedly involved in this corruption. It is being told that preparations are being made to interrogate the people whose names are in the diary.

A senior ED official has told that in the initial investigation of Bengal School Job Scam, it has come to light that Arpita Mukherjee, who is a close aide of Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee, was running 12 fake companies. According to an ED official, documents related to such companies were recovered by the investigating agency during a raid at Arpita Mukherjee’s Joka flat on Saturday evening.

Some people from Odisha and Tamil Nadu may be involved
According to him, the ED suspects that some lesser-known people from Odisha and Tamil Nadu may also be involved in this case. Let us tell you that Arpita Mukherjee has also worked in some Bengali and Oriya films.

The ED official has said that the documents we have found at Arpita’s Joka flat show that she was running many fake companies to carry out financial disturbances. We have documents of 12 such companies. He said, “There may be involvement of some people from Odisha and Tamil Nadu, whom we believe have transacted money in this case.

It was told by the ED that they are keeping an eye on some people from Odisha and Tamil Nadu and they will be brought under investigation soon. The ED official said, “We are also trying to ascertain whether Arpita has invested in any film production house? We have many documents, files and signed papers which point to this.”
