Meanwhile, Blinken told reporters that he had expressed concern to his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi about the growing proximity to Russia. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a statement accusing Russia of deliberately targeting innocent civilians by carrying out attacks in residential areas.

China had announced to support Russia
According to the report of the news agency Reuters, the two leaders had talks for five hours on the sidelines of the G-20 meeting in Indonesia. During this, Blinken had asked China to come with the Western countries. Russia’s Sergei Lavrov left the meeting on Friday, accusing him of “frenzied criticism”. Immediately after the attack on Ukraine, China announced a strong and unlimited partnership with Russia.

15 killed in Russian attack on apartment in eastern Ukraine
On Sunday, 15 people were killed and 20 trapped under the rubble of a Russian rocket attack on a five-storey building in the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donsk region of eastern Ukraine. Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that he had recalled senior Ukrainian diplomats posted in several other countries as part of the normal diplomatic process. Soon new ambassadors will be posted to India, Germany, Czech Republic, Norway and Hungary.
