Preparations have started for the state’s first Agniveer recruitment rally to be held from August 19 to 31 at Victoria Cross Gabar Singh Camp in Kotdwar. On Tuesday, a meeting of officers of the departments related to recruitment was held under the chairmanship of SDM Kotdwar, in which the recruiting officer of the army informed the other officers about the arrangements related to recruitment. The SDM directed all the departmental officers to make proper arrangements. Told that Agniveers of 61 tehsils of seven districts will be recruited in Kotdwar.
In the meeting of recruitment rally organized at Kotdwar Tehsil Auditorium, Lansdowne Army Recruiting Officer Col Munish said that the state’s first Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally is to be organized from August 19 to 31 at Gabar Singh Camp at Kaudia. Due to the rainy season, this work is challenging, but for its successful operation, the civil departments will play an important role. Said that an entry point has been made at Kashirampur Talla for the recruitment of youth of 61 tehsils of seven districts. The entire responsibility of security outside the camp rests with the local police administration. Army personnel will handle all the arrangements inside the camp.
He urged to make a track of the race, make proper arrangements for medical, food, lodging, transport etc. for the youth coming in thousands. After this, all the officers, including the SDM, led by Colonel Munish reached the Kaudiya camp. He inspected the recruitment site. During this, the SDM directed the concerned departmental officers to make arrangements for recruitment. Officers of all departments including CO GL Kohli, Tehsildar Vikas Awasthi were present on this occasion.
Entry will not be available without corona vaccination certificate
During the meeting held in Tehsil, Recruiting Officer Col Munish told that the recruitment process will be started from Kashirampur Talla at exactly 2 o’clock in the night. The admit card and corona vaccination certificate of the youth coming to be admitted at the entry point will be checked. Youth who do not bring admit card and vaccination certificate will not be allowed to participate in the recruitment process. He asked the police to identify and arrest the people who brokered the recruitment. Said that complete transparency is adopted in Army Recruitment Rally. It is not possible to recruit someone without recruitment standards.
